About Pirbright Horticultural Society
Pirbright Horticultural Society celebrated the 125 years of its existence in 2024 with a tea party to which present and former members, the Mayor of Guildford and some of our show Judges were invited.
We meet every month (except August) in the Club Room of Lord Pirbright’s Hall. Our meetings are on the secondTuesday of the month at 7.30pm. All members are invited to attend. Visitors are also welcome, we make a small charge for entry. Each month speakers and other events are organised. In May we hold a Plant Sale in the village; we have astall at the irbright Village Fair in June and in July we hold our Annual Show.
Membership is £20 per year for individuals and £25 for families, payable toTreasurer@pirbrighthort.co.uk after the AGM in December.

At our January Meeting we will have some short presentations with slides from some of our members. There will also be a chance to ask questions and bounce ideas of other members. If possible please submit any questions in advance to Lucy Baker (secretary@pirbrighthort.co.uk)
February Meeting: Tuesday 10 February 2026
In February we will welcome Louise Jones, a Plant Pathologist from the RHS. She will talk to us about Common Diseases in edible crops.
